Breeder page: Present yourself and your kennel

#Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever #TBA Feature

The ‘Breeder Page’ is our brand new feature - a dedicated space now available with every breeder subscription! This personalised website allows you to represent your kennel professionally and attractively, enhancing your online presence within the community and beyond.

With your Breeder Page, you’ll benefit from

  • Professional Online Presence: Display your kennel, showcase your breeding experience, share your litter plans and current litters and link your stud dogs — all in one place.
  • Increased Visibility: Unlike standard person pages, your Breeder Page is accessible to everyone visiting The Breed Archive, even if they aren’t logged in. Breeder pages are also highlighted on our search results page with the breeder's profile photo.
  • Direct Communication: Make it easy for anyone interested to reach you through private messaging and follow you on your social media channels or YouTube account.

The Breeder Page feature is not available on all archives yet but only for Azawakh, American Hairelss Terrier, American Waterspaniel and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. All other archives will follow within the next few days.

How to start creating your personal Breeder Page?

The prerequisite to create your dedicated page is that your user account is linked to your person profile. If you haven’t connected them yet, locate your person profile and click the “That’s me” button to establish the link. An added benefit of this connection is that it secures your person profile, preventing other users from making modifications to it.

Once your user account is linked to your person profile, a "Design Your Page" button will appear on your profile page. Simply click it to access your Breeder Page template, ready to be personalised by you. Rest assured—it’s much easier than breeding! 😉

While you are working on your Breeder Page, all users still see the classic person page view. Only when you decide to publish your site it becomes visible to everybody. Before publishing you can preview it the way it will be displayed to other users.

You can also unpublish your page at any time. Also in this case users will see the classic person page again.

Plan and manage your litters

In addition to the structured presentation of your contact details, stud dogs and other information the Breeder Page offers unique possibilities to share the entire breeding journey - from planning future litters to showcasing current ones.

You can share your planned litters for this or next year and limit yourself to a very approximate date. Also the stud dog can be omitted, which is often not yet fixed.

Example of a Planned litter

After mating has occurred, or the pregnancy is confirmed, you can easily convert your planned litter into a litter announcement by adding the mating date and the stud dog. You also have the option of adding a nice photo of the couple. With both sire and dam listed, visitors can explore the full pedigree and pedigree analysis through The Breed Archive.

Example of a Litter announcement

As soon as the litter has been born, you can convert the litter announcement into a 'current litter', which allows you to not only add a photo from the whelping box and the number and gender distribution of the puppies, but also to present each puppy individually including a photo. You can also indicate the availability status of each puppy.

Example of a current litter

Each puppy can receive a detailed description and a photo:

Finally after the puppies have received their pedigree names, all puppies of the current litter can be transferred directly to the Breed Archive. It works just like adding a litter, with all details— including individual puppy photos—automatically transferred. However, you can still make updates as needed.

With the Breeder Page, establishing a strong, professional online presence highlighting your expertise and passion for breeding has never been easier.
