Health Overview within the Pedigree

When you land on the Health Analysis page, you will see a compact three-generation family tree of your dog by default, with health information displayed next to each ancestor - provided that such data exists and has been entered into the Breed Archive.

Using the 'Generations' drop-down box, you can view up to five generations. In addition to basic information such as name, country of birth, and year of birth, the following details are listed for each dog in this health-focused pedigree display, where available:

  • Inbreeding coefficient
  • Breed-relevant health information
  • Other health issues and screening results
  • Year of death and age at death
  • Cause of death

Depending on how thoroughly individual dogs have been tested for various health issues, the display can become cluttered. To address this, a 'Health Information' drop-down menu allows you to filter specific health details - including cause of death - making it easier to review results across multiple generations.

Health Information for Direct Relatives

When analysing health, it is just as important to consider a dog’s direct relatives - such as siblings or offspring - as it is to review its ancestors. To support this, we provide a detailed list of names, dates of birth, dates of death, causes of death, and all breed-relevant health information, where available, for:

  • Parents
  • Siblings
  • Half-siblings
  • Offspring

You can access this list by selecting the 'Direct Relatives' tab, located next to 'Pedigree'. This view also allows you to filter specific health information using the drop-down menu.
